Nutritionist is a good career where nutritionists promote a healthy lifestyle through usage of knowledge of managing nutrition and food. Nutritionists work with hospitals, clinics, laboratories, food industries, not-for-profit organizations, schools, Universities, Hotels etc. One can start own practice.
In India, A fresher (graduates) can get anywhere around Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 13,000 per month. Those with a master's degree can expect a higher package ranging between Rs. 1.5 lakh and Rs. 4 lakh per annum. The salaries get higher with experience. For private practitioners, there is no limit to the income depending upon skills.
