Hello Dear Aspirant,Welcome to Careerguide.com
Thanks for visiting us and writing us your career query.
I think this is the question which lies in many students mind especially students who have been pursuing or have completed;whether to do a job or pursue higher studies. This is because there are job opportunities available for the management students right after completing BBA.
Management has been one of the demanding career nowadays. And many students have been aspiring to make their career and mark their identity in the field of Management. Its the field which is one of the prestigious field with high salary packages.
If you take up a job after BBA that will give you an work experience but i wont fetch you handsome salary package and the promotions won't be at that high phase as are provided to the person holding an masters degree in management.
I would suggest you can do a job for an year and gain a work experience and than apply for the Masters degree programm in management as per your interest . There are no. of courses available in management for the students courses like :- MBA having 250+ specialisations viz.marketing,Human Resource,Health care,Agriculture,IT etc. If you have an interest in Marketing than you can go for Masters in Marketing Management (MMM) and if you have an interest in Human Resource than you can opt for Masters in Personnel Management (MPM). While you can divert other fields like Mass communication, MBA in Design Management , Commerece,Arts,Fine Arts , Law etc. are also some of the options available.
Whichever career you wish to opt for make sure that you go with your interest field and if you find it confusing to choose a career path than you can take careerguide.com's career assessment which will help you to take decision for your career.
I hope you find this information relevant to your career query.

Dear Aspirant,
Thanks for writing to www.careerguide.com!
Career experts have answered your query very well so I won't repeat what did they say.
Well, as mentioned by career experts, I too recommend to do MBA after BBA. MBA from reputed institute would be useful. To get admission into top notch institutions, you need to crack CAT/MAT/XAT. Attempt to get above 99 percentile so that you can get into reputed institutiins. You need to choose specialization ( HR, marketing, finance etc.), which is very crucial.
If your economic condition requires you to take up a job then you can go for job in your preferred area of functions either in corporate or development sector. Worl experience will help you determine your area of interest for masters and choosing specialization in master's course. After considerable work experience ( two years) you can do MBA or other relevant post graduate course in your area of interest.
Best wishes for your career,
Apurva Kumar Pandya, PhD
