Banking is one of the most dynamic sector and one of the most promising sector for getting job opportunities. Banking do provide lot of job options and thus it has lot of entry level options
Another option is that you do your MBA from one of the good institute and then work your way towards getting in to a banking job the advantage would be that you would be able to get into the middle level job instead of entry level.

Banking is considered as the back bone of the economy. Therefore growth of this sector is tremendous and never ending.
You can enter into banking sector in two ways: Private banks or Public sector banks.
For entering into the private banks, you need to be MBA Finance or CFA or CA. These qualifications are most sought by private banks. Else after graduation in commerce/arts/science, you can join the courses which are sponsored by private banks and complete that course and get entry at the junior level.
For entering into public sector banks, you need to apply for IBPS or PO exams, when the vacancies are announced.
I would recommend you coaching classes for IBPS or PO exams since they are competitive and its better to be well prepared, aware and do lot of practice to crack the examinations.
