Hi Roy, Distribution of Marks in GATE exam: There are total 65 questions in the GATE examination. The maximum marks to be obtained are 100. There is no exact distribution of marks for each particular subject. The Engineering mathematics & general aptitude have the 15% weightage each which is the highest. It means that engineering mathematics will carry a total of 15 marks and General Aptitude questions will carry a total of 15 marks. Hi Shabnam, There is no big procedure that one needs to adopt for changing ones board. You will have to inform the regional head office of both the boards. However this is usually done by the schools. All the official paper-work is also done by the schools. You can simply contact the schools to know about any anomaly, uncompleted work or other issues and then very easily change your board.
