Hey Arpit, You can try and go for political science in graduation or go for law. Because in pol sci and law you will learn about the constitution of India which is a very major part of the IAS prep. In second year of college onwards, start studying for the UPSC. Hope this helps. regards Saurabh Nanda

Hey Kriti, Why don't you take the stream selector test available her on the website? Also with your scores, it might be difficult for you to perform well in science. I would recommend commerce with/without maths based on your proficiency in maths. Best of Luck SN

Hey Annie, It is time you started promoting social service organisations, their events and causes using your Digital media knowledge. I would not recommend fashion if you have not done a lot in it. I am assuming here that you did your studies in an NIFT kind of an institute where you learned graphic designing and have been using those skills in Digital Marketing ever since. If my assumption is true, then you have the following practical concerns: With limited fashion design knowledge and virtually no work ex in it, it is going to be difficult to get into a job for it. You will have to start f

Hey Mohit, What you are facing is a tough decision. Because once you are in a particular course, your options to come out of it become limited! For computer science, you can take 2 paths: Engineering or regular Bachelors like BCA etc. Now I do not know if you are preparing for Engineering or not but job security after Engineering depends a lot on the college. So you have to prepare seriously for Engineering. For BCA or BSc Computer Science, the competition is less and most Universities will just see your 12th scores. But some like DU have their entrance tests as well. Some industry experts fro

Hey Neha, It is absolutely possible to study psychology even though you might have a different background. I did my MA in Psychology from IGNOU even though I am a Computer Engineer. You will have to intern and complete a filed project where you will find avenues to build your career. Although you might have to go for further studies to become better. I hope this helps Regards SN

Hey Kasturi, A very important question indeed. If you have reached this question in your mind that means you have exhausted all conventional sources of knowledge/information/wisdom! Now although it depends which age bracket or career category you are in or what is your educational/work experience profile, you should always get yourself assessed. Now getting yourself assessed on what? Well again, if you were in high school, I would have said Aptitude+Personality+Interest. If you are in college or a young professional, I would say primarily personality.  Apart from psychometric personality

Hey Siya, So I understand the following from your query: You are in the procurement department of a company/organisation and primarily deal with things like finding vendors, RFQs, processing accounts and invoices. You are not using your diploma in Computer Science for any programming related activity. You primarily use MS Excel and Word. Your pay package has not improved much and other job offers do not offer a great salary hike. You are open to the fact that you might have to work towards getting a Bachelors and Masters Degree with significant costs involved. Well if the above inferences ab

Hey, So it depends on your choice among these 4 subjects and also how much you have performed in these individual subjects. A lot of careers you can choose from such as Law, teaching, civil services, copywriting, politics etc. You can start filling up RTI forms for people who can not on their own! But all the career options will require you to study more! Hope this helped. Regards SN

Hey Bharat, All streams have great prospects! It is the college and job role that you get after you complete your engineering which makes the prospects good or bad. So try and get the best colleges if you are unsure about the streams yet. But streams do depend on your aptitude as well. My batchmate from Computer Science got employed by BHEL and he is extremely happy even though the work at BHEL is not cutting edge computer engineering work. So there are other factors such as career growth, work environment and personal priorities which come into the picture as well. I hope this answer helps in
