Hello Aastha Khanna As you said you have gap period of 5 years in between you can go for some certification courses in Engineering in your respective subjects , There are lots of online course websites are available like coursera.com etc. Else you can go for MBA in IT or in other subjects. You will need a minimum High School degree for getting education to become a teacher , After that you can go for your special subject  and can go for B.Com , M.Com and after that for B.Ed , After B.Ed you can apply for teacher in govt.
