Dear Aamir, The earning depends on the practice of a doctor and his behaviour with the patients. Keeping today's scenario in mind experienced Psychiatrist are earning Rs.500/- to Rs.1500 per visit/ per patient so you can easily calculate how much is a reputed Psychiatrist must be earning in a metro city. As for now don't concentrate on the financials but try to be a master in your field and put in honest hard work.

Dear Siddharth, I would suggest that you do your SWOT before deciding anything because if you have a strong command over written and spoken English then ofcourse you should take it as your career option and later do B.Ed if you want to get into school education as a teacher or clear NET for getting a lecturer's position in a college. There is always a dearth of good English teacher in the field of education and the scope is vast. 

The most interesting things you can do while working as a Psychologist are creating your own style of handling your patients. Go beyond the bookish knowledge and observe the world with your own eyes and if interested then get into research. Dear Dhanya, You have asked me about scope of Diploma in Counselling Psychology. As a counsellor I would suggest that it is not required in your particular case as you are already a qualified doctor. If possible pursue post graduate degree in your discipline or alternatively start your practice.
