If you are pursuing such courses from reputed institutes for placements like SRM university, Lovely Professional University, VIT university etc. And it is better to go for MBA than PGDM, you may also get selection based on your score in graduation in such institutes.

B.sc It and B.Tech both are computer field course so MATLAB also part of the subject. B.sc cant do alone because not worthy so after that you have to do master degree like M.sc or MCA for getting good jobs in MNC like CTS, Tech mahinndra, Infosys..etc but B.tech directly you can apply job in software companies .
