Hello Makhan, The difference can be seen in the course name itself. The hper option basically is nothing but extra curriculars unless you wish to make physical education or health which includes yoga and other methods to maintain health. Whereas the student of math has many options like BCA, B.SC IT, Architecture, Designing, Economics, Statistics, etc. So I would suggest opt for math, option like hper can be opted as hobby activities. Wish you good luck
Hello.Simoni, Just a little humor, but the fact is " Counselors with grey hair" are considered as relevant and experience. So as such your age would be a boon to be in the field of counseling. Never the less, initially you would need experience, which is possible only if you start working in a counseling organization. And there you would face the younger lot. If you have no issues there, in terms of learning from the younger age group counselors, your age would not be an issue for you. Go ahead pursue the course. If you as a future counselor lack confidence, how will you help your client

Hello Pooja, An MA in Psychology, graduates you as a counselor. Its just that now you work under an experienced counselor or psychologist, if IGNOU has provided you an internship, then this part is taken care off, and so you could apply to various counseling firms and work as a counselor. Incase no internships are provided, you could opt to work as a trainee under an experienced counselor. As such I would even suggest, other certificate courses like NLP, Hypnosis etc. Please at the moment, concentrate on either being a counselor or a teacher. Initially,
Hi Kevin, To answer your question, one must ask at what point of your career journey are you posing this question. If as a 10th or 12th grader, you are aspiring to be a counsellor and if you have the aptitude, interest and personality to match the occupation, then yes - counselling:be it psychological or career counselling, is a bright option. Now how do you make it rewarding? By pursuing the requisite course from a good college (note: learning is not a one time affair, as a counsellor myself, I still learn everyday), gain credible certifications and gaining practical experience and mark
Hello Kevin, Sounds very very interesting. Honestly speaking, Psychology or counseling though there is a wide spread awareness, but as such a counselor does not fall into a high income group. Thus I would suggest that pursue an MBA and take up a job in a corporate. Get your dream of owning a house etc full-filled. And in the meanwhile get a certificate in guidance and counseling and in the weekends work as a career counselor and satisfy your desire too. But incase if you are keen on Psychology only, then I would suggest, look for opportunities in International schoo
