Sounds very very interesting.
Honestly speaking, Psychology or counseling though there is a wide spread awareness, but as such a counselor does not fall into a high income group.
Thus I would suggest that pursue an MBA and take up a job in a corporate. Get your dream of owning a house etc full-filled. And in the meanwhile get a certificate in guidance and counseling and in the weekends work as a career counselor and satisfy your desire too.
But incase if you are keen on Psychology only, then I would suggest, look for opportunities in International schools as a school and career counselor. Get a special education course done. So in schools you can work as a special educator cum counselor.
