As told by Mr. Anand that for VP / CEO I need to have knowledge of my domain area of 20 years but I have seen many high level managers / VP/CEO who are young might be 30-35 yrs of age, so how did they became VP/ CEO ? Is it knowledge from top B-school gave them a jump ? or something else

Hi There,
I totally agree with your question that there are CEO's that young and at the same time, with the counselor Anandjee, that to head such an important position one needs a huge experience.
But here after your question I was intrigued and so on research found that, these young leaders, noticed their leadership qualities at a young age an have proven their worth by either reviving a shut down organization or have generated a new project and made it work in the market. Though not denying they have got their degrees from renowned University, but it is their ability to Research and generate ideas and developments that have given them that position.
Their projects or contributions due to their out of the box thinking has been noticed by companies worldwide and hence they have been offered the position in a golden plate.
If you have the potentials, just be more logical and more so " Be Practical".Know what your talent is and then hit the ground.
Sometimes, even if you have the right potentials and have the talent to think out of the box, certain industries do bank upon the experience in the industry and sustenance and persistence you show in your work.
Here I would advise, that right now enter the industry, grab some worthwhile projects under your belt, prove that you can do it by adding the extra and probably you might be noticed sooner or later.
But definitely " Never stop Dreaming and Challenging yourself".
Wish you good luck....
