JEE Main and Advanced syllabus
Hi Vrishti,
JEE is one of the most famous engineering exams that is given by approximately 10 Lakh students every year and the number is increasing every year. This exam is conducted by CBSE that makes you eligible to take admission in some of the most reputed colleges in India. The exam is conducted in two parts JEE Mains and JEE Advanced for premium colleges like IIT’s and NIT’s, the students who qualify the JEE Mains are only eligible to appear for JEE Advance. Most of the private colleges in India also take admission on the basis of JEE Mains score.
The number of hours that one needs to put in to qualify the exam depends on the person’s calibre and the level of intelligence. There are people who need to put in a less effort to learn a thing and there are some who have to put in a lot of effort to learn the same thing. So the person has to see as to in how much
time he/she is able to do or learn a given thing and then decide accordingly.
One thing that you should remember is that putting in a lot of hours for study is not at all important rather it is more important to put in a effort in a smart way i.e. quality study is more important than quantity study. You should be smart enough to study only the things that are most in terms of exam point of view and study that. It is suggested that you should not leave the syllabus thinking that this topic is not important so why to study it, but you should study the topics that are more important from exam point of view more as compared to the topics that are a little less important.
Qualifying for the exam is not a tough job but remember that securing a good rank in the same is definitely tough. But you should remember that if you work hard for it, getting a good rank will not be tough for you. For getting a good rank in the exam you should study throughout the syllabus of 11th and 12th do not think that you will clear the exam by only studying in the last few months. As JEE is a concepts based exam remember that your concepts of Physics, Chemistry and Maths are very clear. Your basics of 11th should also be very clear as the weightage is also given to it in the exam. Also solve previous year question papers.
If you thoroughly prepare for the exam it will not be tough for you to qualify and secure a good rank in it.
Dear Aspirant,
There is no equation of number of hours of study to qualifying any exam.
Focused studying, smart study, not skipping any section, strong conceptual studying, guidance and practice is what is required to crack such examinations.
Best wishes
