1M+ Test Taken
Hello Sujata,
Interesting question and pretty interesting to see that despite not a conducive work culture and environment; as well as lack of interest in work, you have prolonged the work for 6 years. Pretty long time. How did you manage?.
Anyways, now that you looking out for a change, bettter late than never. But please note whichever field you opt for now, will make you begin as a fresher.
Rather I would say talk to your bank manager and appear for internal exams and move up the ladder. Probably you could opt for an MBA in Retail bankingg or Financial management and opt for a business development position or financial management position. You could opt for a course in business analyst and then work as a analyst. You could also opt for professional courses like CA or ICWAI and work as a cost accountant. But only if you are interested in the same field.
Or else best would be to gauge where your interest lies and take up courses accordingly.
For this you could take help of career counseling or Aptitude test, also available here at Mera career. The test would reveal your potentials and interest and help you making a choice.
Wish you good luck.....
Hi,
Thanks for A2A..!!!
As per my opinion, it will not be a good idea to give up the job and start working in your interest field. It is also not a good idea to do the job in which you are not interested at all.I will suggest you find out what you actually want. There is a chance that you will go for next job and get bored in few years again.Maybe you are not trying to find out interesting in your job, you are not giving your best and doing the same work again and again.
Firstly find out where is the problem - in you or in your job.You are not giving your best or actually, it is the time to change the job.
My cousin has been working as a bank clerk for 1 year and I am also going to appear in IBPS Clerk 2017.I read a lot about the success as well as failure stories of people and I am inspired from that, so on the basis of that, I have given suggestion.
Rest choice is yours.!!
