Hello Sir/Mam I am Pooja Vats completed my graduation from School of Open Learning in B.Com(Hons.) with 48% . Sir/Mam I want to know ""Am I eligible to give MAT test which will be held on 7 December 2014 ?"" . I want to do MBA from a reputed college. I am confused if there is marks condition in graduation or minimum % is required in graduation for giving MAT test. As I have scored 48% in graduation I was not able to take admission in MBA through GGS IPU even though I got rank. That's why I want to establish my career in MBA through MAT but still I am confused in eligibility criteria for giving MAT test. Please let me know the Eligibility criteria for appearing in MAT Test. I would be really obliged. Thanking You Yours sincerely Pooja Vats

Hey Pooja,

Very very interesting, that you are looking to study further.

As for MAT, going through the website, their only criteria for appearing for the entrance exams is Graduation from a recognized university, which of course you clear.
But you definitely know that MAT is just a means for entering into specific University covered by the MAT scores.
These university may have percentage criteria, which you would have to check individually.
Not to discourage you, but the minimum percentage criteria for University is 50%.
But best would be to check individually with he University website.

If percentage criteria is there, then probably doing an MBA would be a little difficult.
But here again no issues.
What you can do is, you could opt for either a part-time or correspondence MBA program.

For this course, minimum criteria is work experience.
So best would be to get into an organization and gain some work related experience and based on it, you could decide an MBA specialization of your choice.

But prior to this, it would be good, if you could check the University which accepts the MAT scores and their percentage criteria.
For a list of University check the MAT website.

Hope this answers your query.

Wish you good luck....
