CA,CS,CFA,CMA these are some of the profession of the commerce. These are the high end professions. They are the most demanding career option having a great career scope and demand in the industry. As CA deals with the Accounts and Taxtaion, CMA deals with the costing of the products in the manufacturing sectors. Company Secretary i.e CS is a profession that deals with the Legal side of the Industries and appinting of the CS has been mandatory on the Companies part as per the Companies Act. CS is a professional person who handles all the Legal matter and licensing of the industries and any other legal disputes of the companies.
In order to make a career in the CS one needs to fulfill the following things-
1. A candidate needs to register with the ICSI Institute at the nearby CS Chapter. The candidate can register them with ICSI when they are studying 10+2 from any stream.
2. One needs to give an CS Foundation exam either after appearing 10+2 or who have completed 12th.
3.On clearing CS Foundation one can gets eligible for the CS Professional Group I and II exams. Along with the CS Professional group studies one needs to go for the 3 years article ship and IT training.
4. Completing all the above things one gets eligible for the CS Final Group.
On clearing the CS Final Group one becomes the certified CS Professional and can start the practice. The CS exams are conducted twice in a year i.e MAY and December you can choose any session from it.
With CS, Law degree makes a good combination. Many industries they demand for the Law degree along with the CS and prefer them.
