Hello Tashi,

Sorry, but to be a nephrologist, one needs to be an MBBS followed by an MD / MS.

You could pursue a masers in nursing, which has different specilaization right from paediatrics to oncology.

You could even pursue an MBA in Hospitality management.

Hope this helps.

Wish you good luck...

Dear Aspirant,

Nephrology is a  typical and core medicine field and for that you definitely need to be first an MBBS graduate.

However, I would like to ask, how come suddenly you are thinking of Nephrologist career and that too after BSc Nursing?

BSc Nursing is a very good course and there many job opportunities in the Nursing domain. Any Doctor without Nursing assistance is impossible and therefore there is tremendous scope in Nursing. To diversify, as suggested by my colleague Ms. Meghana, MBA in Hospital Management is fine, but at a later stage if you are not willing to continue in core Nursing area.

A Masters in Nursing with a good specialisation area is highly recommended.

Best wishes
