To become a nurse first most important point is you should be willing to take care of the ill and sick people.
Nursing is a selfless and difficult career choice because it is not only about gaining the knowledge about it but also doing a on the job training or say vocation training is a must and care of sick too. In this vocational training they have the opportunity to directly interact with the patients, they even learn the hospital policies and procedures in effect.

Doctors are only in charge for diagnose of the disease and nurse have to take care of the sick 24 hours, so shifts are there and lot many nurses are required to make it work 24 hours. This shows a huge demand for the profession in any country. as many nurses are required to fill various shifts.

People get sick daily and they need to be taken care by a skilled person, such as nurses. people need for health care is not affected at any time by a country's economic climate and therefore nurses are always in demand making it a consistent field.
