IT experience of 4 years is a good thing you have gained. For managerial role, I would recommend you to get PMP Certification from PMI. PMP certification as you may be aware or may have seen is a must in IT industry. Project Management skills certification is recommended in IT industry.
PMP is highly recommended.
Alternatively, you may go for Executive MBA in General Management or Project Management from a good Institute. This will also enable you to climb the managerial ladder.
However, PMP is perfectly suited.
