1M+ Test Taken
Dear Aspirant,
There is no need of getting confused since the two are different from each other. Genuine confusion arises when the two courses are similar and then one cannot decide which one to pursue.
There cannot be a comparison between MBA and Civil Services in terms of satisfaction, salary and growth.
Everybody wants to have a satisfied job, it is upon you to decide whether you have the right skills to get employed and stick to the employment by being adaptable and flexible.
I think it is better if you introspect. Otherwise, you can appear for the Ideal Career Test from CareerGuide. This psychometric test will help you in knowing what is suitable to you according to your aptitude and inter personal abilities. I would suggest that instead of comparing, try analysing yourself first, which will give you a better and perfect answer as to which career is suitable for you.
Best wishes
Hello Lavina
Pursuing MBA course and preparing for civil services are two totally different things and cannot be compared with each other. A candidate who wishes to learn about business and management skills shall opt for MBA course. One who wishes to work in the government system and serve the society shall prepare for civil services.
There are many posts that are filled through civil services. Hence, you first need to decide which exam you wish to prepare for. Think about the profile you would like to work on for next decades. You may take help of psychometric test for the same.
All the best
Dear Friend, MBA is comparatively an easy to win battle and opted by so many people, Civil services on the hand will provide you the reputation, Name and fame provided you work extremely hard to qualify it. If you think that you have seriously a very high IQ and potential to undergo strenuous practice for preparation then go for civil services, plus you must find a relevant and prominent coaching center for better preparation. On the other hand if you did MBA in a good branch and then if you got a chance to work with an MNC, nothing can stop you becoming successful. I may opine some names of institutions for MBA, you may make a choice - World College of Technology and Management, Gurgaon,.....................Sarvottam Institute of Technology and Management,Greater Noida,..
In order to post replies to the question: "I am confused between mba and civil services..I want a satisfied job ,..I m confused whether start preparing for mba or civil services"
