Pursuing MBA course and preparing for civil services are two totally different things and cannot be compared with each other. A candidate who wishes to learn about business and management skills shall opt for MBA course. One who wishes to work in the government system and serve the society shall prepare for civil services.
There are many posts that are filled through civil services. Hence, you first need to decide which exam you wish to prepare for. Think about the profile you would like to work on for next decades. You may take help of psychometric test for the same.

If you think that you have seriously a very high IQ and potential to undergo strenuous practice for preparation then go for civil services, plus you must find a relevant and prominent coaching center for better preparation. On the other hand if you did MBA in a good branch and then if you got a chance to work with an MNC, nothing can stop you becoming successful.
