I had not qualified GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test). I am a final year B.pharm student. Is it good for me to take one year drop for preparation of GPAT once again? Is this drop worth wasting my one year? What u suggest? Should I take drop or not?

Hello Raghav,

Please note, majority of the top Pharma colleges stress on GPAT, as the eligibility criteria for admission to M.Pharma course. Also there are few Universities that provide admission on the basis of your B.Pharma courses, but when it comes to college aide like fees and other facilities, the student who has got admission through GPAT is given the first preference.

Now if you are keen on the best Institute, then GPAT would be a must.

Rather I would suggest that instead of wasting a year in preparations, you take admission in M.Pharma based on your Graduation score and then when you clear the entrance test, you could opt for the Institute o your choice.

No use wasting a year at this crucial stage. Even if you dont clear GPAT again, atleast you would be in line with your fellow students and also your age criteria.

Rest is your choice.

Wish you good luck.........

Thanks maam. Some colleges conduct their own entrance test

. So for now I should focus on that. And will prepare for that. Some of the colleges like JSS, Manipal and NMIMS. Any other addition from your side to this list?
