Hello Anirudh,
Interesting to see your aspiration.
Though I do not wish to dishearten you, but career is based on being more practical rather than being emotional.
Firstly, for a career in Airforce pilot, the age upper limit as per UPSC norms to appear for the NDA exam, you must be 19 years old. That you do qualify.
On the other end, one needs to be 12th Science especially Math and Physics qualified.I liked your aspiration that you would wish to appear for 12th Science through NIOS.
But here would like to mention that, NDA exams are twice in a year, so you have chance in December only. But here my question is how will you cope with Physics as a subject, when you have not studied the subject post 10th ( Maximum 2 years).
It seems a tough call. So in-case you can manage, no issue, you can try your luck then to appear for 12th science stream.
Two points which seems difficult in your path towards Pilot career, includes:
As a counselor, I would recommend, that the field you are currently pursuing, Commerce has lot of scope and opportunity. Some of the options you have is:
After Graduation, you could opt for courses like:
Along with Graduation, you could pursue CA or CFA or CS etc.
Hope this helps.
Wish you good luck...
Dear Aspirant,
I agree with Ms. Meghna.
You are definitely taking an emotional decision rather thinking from the practical side. How did you suddenly have this thought of joining the Air Force. This is out of the blue to us counsellors here!
Why the struggle and compulsion of joining the Air Force and that too after passing 12th Commerce?
I would strongly suggest you to get yourself assessed through a psychometric test also available with Careerguide.com
To be best sure of what suits you for your career, I would suggest you to undergo an online psychometric test from CareerGuide which will help you understand yourself in respect of your strengths, weaknesses, emotional quotient, etc. and will exactly tell you which career is ideal for you.You can then call counsellors to discuss.
Best wishes!
Thanks for your valuable support. And is there any other option which I could undergo in nevy airforce or army on good position. ?? In a short term period
