Dear aspirants, I appreciate you to be serious about your career and you came on right platform. As per your question, you are confused whether you opt science or something else. For this i would like to suggest you that first of all you should go through Aptitude Test and Interest Test. After knowing your interest and aptitude you should think to opt any stream. As per your question that you want to ask full scope option, I would like to tell you that every stream is good and scope, if you have zeal and passion, you can do great. After this I could like to suggest you some good options with full of scope but beware of one thing that you should prefer always your interest and aptitude for choosing any option for career.

In today's scenario, there are various option which have good scope like: Psychologist, Hotel management, Accountancy, commerce, Business Management.

Again you choose option according to your interest and aptitude. As per your question, you are interested in Humanities, you can opt Psychology or Social work in Humanities but you have mentioned Sociology which does not have full scope. it will be better for you , If you go for Psychology and Social work. If you want to adorn your career in Psychology or social Work, you should have sum up of many personality attributes like : good communication, Listening Skills, empathy, helping attitude and Pro social behavior. you must have good knowledge in same field and should be able to apply in right context.

If you want to adorn your career in Psychology or Social work ,you will have to do at least graduation and Post Graduation in psychology or Social Work. After completing your graduation, it will be good and advisable for you to pursue masters degree in sociology. The reasons are that for a good job and to understand a subject deeply, it is important to have a master's degree in hand. If you score good marks in graduation, the better you join a good college or university to study sociology in post graduation. The regular course is better than correspondence course, because it changes your outlook. You can discuss with your class mates, friends and ask any query to your teacher, which is not possible by a correspondence course.

Let me give you an idea of Indian scenario, why social science or sociology is important. Now a days, the Indian society has become more prone to diversified social problems, which is not a healthy symptoms for a happy society. To solve this problem, the scientists are coming up with more sophisticated skills to answer and solve these sociological pathological problems. In last few years the government organizations along with non government organizations have done great job to sort out such problems.

Suppose you have done your masters in sociology, after that you have joined a non governmental organization, then using your education skills or your own ides, you can solve the existing problems. Otherwise, You can put forward your ideas in front of your organization. This task will be more simpler, if you carry out research work in sociological problems or in social science. That opportunity you can get only if you go for doctoral degree program.

After completing your doctoral degree program, you will have more choice of job opportunities. You may either go for research or for teaching profession. Now it depends upon you, what you want to pursue. You want to tell others what you have studies, then go for teaching. If you want to work out on some unanswered social problems, then research is the best field for you.
