Designing of jewellery is an art of precision. If you have an eye for details and the skills then you can go ahead with this course.
Lot of design schools offers these courses, NIFT and NID offers jewellery design.
Other than which institutes like JD, vogue etc also offers programs in jewellery design.
You should have an artistic and creative blend of mind to be successful in this field.
India has a lot of potential, but the openings are very few and they are not generally advertised so you need make your network through different possible options.
Short term and diploma courses in jewellery designing are available whose fees range anywhere between 15k to 2 lacs.
Starting salary might not be promising, but once you establish yourself, as a designer, money is not a constraint.
