But please note, NID, does not have a course on Interior designing. It has other forms of designing.
Anyways there are other institutes that provide a B.Sc in Designing. Listing down few of them. Most o the admission is through an entrance exam.
Please note to be a successful Interior designer apart from being innovative and creative which is a pre requisite. Most importantly you need to have contacts, with not only the elite class of people, businessman, films and television personality etc, but also with the local market, whereby you can buy things from. At the sametime, you need to be in touch with people who can design the interiors as per your suggestion. So a team of people who can work for you. And as well as a portfolio, with your designs.
Immediately after you graduate, you can join hands with builders, who require interior designers, when they get into the construction mode. Once you make a niche for yourself, you can then start on your own and make a small list of contacts that can give you work of decorating their homes.
