Hello student,

It's a situation faced by many students of your age. Nothing to worry. Just tell me which stream you belong to? what are your subjects ? which subject is easy for you handle and which are tougher to deal? what are subjects that interest? Do you have liking or preference towards any particular area of work? these are few things we need to know before we can proceed for any disscusion's. Don't feel that you are blank , introspect yourself and see , you will realize that you have your ownwishes and aims. Every one of us have passed through similar stage at some part of our life. Or may be you are confused by differing opinions of every one in your surrounding, say parents, teachers, friends ,relatives etc. If it is the case , then just leave aside everything and focus on what you want out of life.

Life is your's and ultimately every decision will have a bearing on you. Don't get confused about others view of you . Every one of us is blessed with some or the other wonderfull quality. We have to find out what it is and work on it to be successful. just think , you are talking about your career, which is a major part of ones life. So , you simply can't remain undecided about it.Take a paper and pen andwrite down points to the questionsasked above. Knowing yourself will be your first step in career planning.Then you have to find out our interest areas, aptitude, personality attributesand select a career according to that. After selecting a career option see the nature of work involved, work environment , financial considerations , competetion involved.Do it once , twice and if needed thrice before you finalize any thing as your career.Then you will have a clear idea about what to do and will go with out regrets. In your query, you have not mentioned clearly which stream of HSC you are in? Whether in commerce/science or arts? If you could have mentioned that then I would have been able to pin point exactly what you can do probably. However please let us kow which stream you belong to.
