If you have planned to study through correspondence then it does not matter which college you study from. I would suggest you to go for a government University and study from there.

More importantly than the college you study from is what course you are doing or which career you are getting in.

Zoology and Botany though both are branches of Biology are completely different and kind of extreme. On one hand in Zoology you will study about Animals in Botany you are suppose to study about plants.

So it is more important to think and decide first as to what career you want to get into and then think of the college.

Also remember that correspondence course will not help you much so try and first see if you can take into a regular college and if at all you do not get admission then think of Correspondence.

If you take admission in Correspondence then also try and get into something that is related to your career and do some additional certifications and job that might be of help to you when you are looking for a job later on.

I know and truly understand but also appreciate your determination to study but do work hand and try and score good grades.

Also whatever career or college you decide go for a government university only.
