To become a zoologist, you will need to be able to carry out detailed work in an accurate and organized way. You will need patience and the ability to concentrate for long periods. You will also need strong communication and IT skills.To become a zoologist, you will usually need a post graduate degree in a subject such as zoology, animal ecology, animal behavior or animal conservation. The certification program will not help you to become a zoologist. The reason being, a zoologist is a technical person. Therefore, a person holding higher degrees such as MSc and PhD will be able to called as zoologist.The main job responsibilities of a zoologist are as;The zoologist study the behavior, physiology, classification and distribution of animals, whether they are living, endangered or dead. These all things are being taught during graduation, post graduation courses, and not in any certification course. Therefore, to become a zoologist a higher degree is must.Important subjects related to zoology are biology, chemistry, maths, English and computer.The zoologist should have love for animals and those who are working in fields, should be physically fit and healthy.
