Hello Harsh,
Hello Dear Aspirant,Welcome to career guide.comThanks for approaching us and writing us your career query.
Its good to hear from you that have been aspiring to make your career in CA. I have been counselling many of the students since last 8 years who wish to make their career in the field of Commerce.
CA is one of the demanding profession having a wide scope in India and Abroad. Every year in India around 50,000 CA professionals are needed. While the demand is high while supply is less.In order to meet this demand we need students who will opt for CA course as per their own choice.
CA are the professional who handles the accounts and auditing and taxation part of the individual and also of the companies. They manage the assets and liabilities of the companies and of an individual.
CA is professional parttime degree so student aspiring to make a career in CA must go for the degree course in Commerce. Because degree is the base and strong pillar of the career. Now students who are already pursuing B.com they like to go with the correspondence course as they have lot of studies to be done for CA.Definitely one can go with the correspondence B.com from a UGC approved university.
But i would suggest you to go with the regular B.com course because regular course will give a holistic learning approach and practical experience which you cannot get in correspondence. While in regular course you can learn accounts very well in the college and in CA course Accounts is an important subject. You can also your queries related to the subject to the respective professors in regular college while you wont have this privilege in case of correspondence.
I hope you find this information relevant to your career query.
Feel free to get in touch again.
Wish you Good Luck
Thank You
Warm Regards,Prathamesh K.
Hi Asma,
There is no harm in pursuing CA along with B.Com correspondence. But my question to you is Why???
Are you working that you are unable to dedicate full time to a degree course.AT the same time, for CA though you will be engaged in classes to continue with CA, will you be able to study B.Com all by yourself.
Also there are some concepts, that are covered in B.Com course that can help you in pursuing CA.Hence I would recommend a fulltime course than a correspondence course.
Also please note that if you are not engaged in a job or a full time course, companies will question you why you pursued correspondence degree. As students do pursue CA along with a fulltime degree course.
Anyways choice is yours.Wish you good luck...........
In order to post replies to the question: "Is it write to do ca with b.com correspondence from punjab university"
