IAS exam is conducted by the UPSC every year for various posts including IAS/IFS/IPS and other central services of group A and B. The Procedure is simple that anyone with an academic degree from a recognized university within prescribed age limit can appear for this examination. Lalit, if you have completed your graduation or even if you are in the final year of the degree course, you can appear for the IAS exam.
The UPSC publishes the notification for filling up the application forms on the predetermined dates. The Exam Calendar for a concerned year gets published well before in advance on its websites (www.upsc.gov.in and www.upsconline.nic.in ) and in the Employment Newspaper. You will find a link on official websites of the UPSC where you have to fill up the application form online. the fee will be only 100/- rupees except for the candidates under the category.
