1M+ Test Taken
Dear Rishi,
You seems to be very interested in engineering but you have enrolled yourself into a non maths stream.
Here I understand you are going through a lot of career confusion
I would suggest that it depends on the board you are studying
you will have to contact your board administrator/school administrator regarding this.
A better option to this would be joining national open school(NIOS)
As physics chemistry are common in both streams you will have flexibility to clear it at the earliest.
There is a scheme called "on Demand" which helps you clear your exams at your pace.
So don't worry Rishi, take an informed decision, and do your best.
For further queries you may please visit www.nios.ac.in
Hope this helps
Happy career planning

Dear Aspirant,
Please AVOID Open Schooling. Open Schooling is recommended for students who cannot study on regular basis due to their personal or family or social difficulties.
Now since you have passed 12th with PCB combination, you are NOT eligible for Engineering degree course. However there are many Institutes where Maths need not be a subject in 12th for admission into Engineering. However also in your case, how will you prove that you are good in Maths, which is definitely the base for any engineering.
I would suggest that you need to look for options based on PCB, since again going for PCM and consuming another year is not recommended.
Based on PCB, you can go for many options. However how about checking your inclination and intellect scientifically? I would suggest you to appear for the Ideal Career Test from CareerGuide.com. This psychometric test is an answer to your career concern. Choosing on the basis of this test results is suggested.
Best wishes
Hello
For most of the reputed Engineering institutes, it’s mandatory to pass twelfth standard with Physics, Chemistry and Maths group. Hence, you are now eligible for non maths streams like microbiology, physiotherapy, biotechnology, paramedical science, etc. The option that you can opt for joining engineering stream is to take admission for diploma course on the basis of tenth standard’s score and later join degree course. However, it is a time consuming choice.
It is highly recommended to write a psychometric test as it will help you clear all the doubts and make a choice depending on your inclination, interests and skills.
All the best
