A new common law admission test (CLAT) for fourteen leading law universities is conducted under the aegis of the Universities Grant Commission. Aspiring lawyers have to take the two hour CLAT test consisting of objective type questions on English language, General Knowledge, Basic Mathematics, Legal and Logical Reasoning. The combined brochure containing information about the fourteen law universities, the courses offered and the eligibility criteria is posted on the official website of CLAT. A few of the universities are: Ambedkar Law University, Chennai; IP University, Delhi; Jamia Milia Islamia, Delhi; Christ University, Bangalore; Bhartia Vidyapeeth, Pune; Army Institute of Law, Pune; SNDU, Amritsar and many more.
Hope this helps.
