There are variety of options available to you after getting a degree in Computer Engineering. If you don't want to work in core technologies and coding profiles, you can still choose from the below mentioned options:

IT Sector:It's important to understand that IT and Computer Engineering are not the same. In case you are not interested in coding profiles, you can still work for IT companies where you will mostly be working with tools and not programming. The profiles are either called as Business Technology Analyst or Software Engineer/Analyst.

Analytics:Many analytics companies prefer computer science background students for the role of an Analyst as they have good understanding of maths and are good at puzzle solving.

Public Sector Jobs:As a Computer Science Engineer, you will have the option to go for public sector jobs. Apparently there won't be much programming work required. Most of the times it's the administerial roles that you have to take care of.

Other Job options:There is no limit on the various kinds of job roles that you can get in to. The important task will be to figuring out where your interest lies. Once you identify that, you can take up that role.

Higher Education:You can either look for a Master degree in your subject of interest or you can go for a more generalized degree like MBA to develop your business and leadership skills. I would suggest you to get some work experience if you are looking for an MBA.

Cmputer engineers are responsible for designing, developing, implementing and testing computer based hardware and software, including the components that are found inside computer equipment, as well as actual devices that contains the computers and the software that runs on those machines. They may also design network that connects computer systems, and work on integrating software programs ith computer hardware.

Education Requirements:
To become Computer Engineer, you will typically require a bachelor of science degree in computer engineering, computer science or electrical engineering.

Responsibilities or Required Technical Skiils:
Since the Computer Engineering field is quite broad, the required technical skills listedin the job postings you may come acroos will vary, depending on whether the job is more hardware of software focused, and which industry the employer belongs to.
