There are variety of internship opportunities available for Computer Engineering students in India. You should not wait and start applying to them immediately.

Following are the important websites where you can find plenty of opportunities for your internship:

http://blog.internshala.com/

http://learn.hackerearth.com/internships/

http://www.twenty19.com/

http://www.letsintern.com/

You can visit the sites and choose from a number of options that will be available to you. Most of the internship opportunities are there in the IT sector. Very few will be on the hardware side.

There are few suggestions that I would like to make so that you get the best of the internship:

1. Identify the field or kind of profile you are looking. It will eliminate certain options from the list.

2. Make one page resume for professional purposes. If you are not sure what skills you would like to highlight, make multiple resume for different applications.

3. Prepare a nicely written cover letter stating the strong reasons that why the company should hire you over other students.

4. Prepare well for your interviews and grab the best of the options.

All the Best !!
