What are the options open for me as a management student in a creative field. I would like to know whether there are any colleges in India that offer courses like Design managemnt, brand management, or any other similar to these. Also, what if I go abroad to pursue such courses, will it be giving returns when I come back to India?

Hello dear student ....
First of all thank you so much for coming to us with your query and asking it to us, it is always our pleasure to answer it and help and guide you in the best way we can.
I would like to suggest you to go for fashion designing specialization in mba master in business administration, this is a very rare subject and that much awareness is not there about this stream in mba but you can go for it and lot many colleges are now a days offering this course where you can apply and take admission for that. One more option is you can go for interior designing or fashion designing both are a creative field, you can choose for any of them.
You will get good opportunities in this field and can secure you future in this line too as high earnings opportunities will be there in later stage. In the course for MBA in fashion designing or interior designing you will get real time experience through the practical examples and situations faced by some of the designers in their real life, by case studies and role plays etc. you will even come to know the obstacles and challenges faced by them in their work and how they managed to come out of it through the use of creative innovative ideas and techniques.
This is a very good course and you can excel in this field like anything as the earning capabilities are very high, and even respect is also there. now a days this is a very alluring stream of designing.
To add one more point to it i would say today world is of show off and now it is trend to get your house, office, work space, shops
designed by designers and make it look classy and elegant making optimum use of space and money.now a days it is becoming a status symbol too so huge demand is there for designers in current market condition. In pay package matter also they are paid more as compared t any other fresher job, and if you get some experience and mark your presence you can earn so much.
Thank you
Hello dear student..
As a management student, any work you do needs to be different and creative.
Earlier anyone with creativity and designing knowledge like product designing or advertising or marketing gradate could find employment in the Brand or marketing department of the orgranization.
Apart from the required qualification, you could certify yourself with additional certificates like:
As far as the degree is concerned from a foreign university is concerned, the degree must be from a recognised university and courses must be valid from the industry point of view.
Also please note that as a foreign return, you must be having knowledge which pertains to the viewers and customers you serve in the Indian mentality zone.
So if you try to implement the Western work culture in India, it would be a failure as it would not be accepted by the people from this country.
Similarly association with a brand depends on the cultural value one pays to the product as well as other factors like the model used, clothing of the model and the lyrics or tone used.
Hope this answers your query.
Wish you good luck.............
