It seems you are completely unaware about the Environmental Engineering. Environmental Engineering is an engineering branch having a great demand and career opportunities today and tomorrow. Due to the increasing global warming conserving the environment has been one of the foremost task that is considered by various engineers,researchers,scientists these days. Various Human Activities has been affecting the earths eco system on a large scale. In order to make these practices eco-friendly engineers has been inventing various eco-friendly practices. These eco-friendly inventions are done by the Engineers who holds an background of Environmental Engineer. These are the engineers who combine the knowledge if science and engineering together. The work of the Environmental engineers is to make sure that people they get a healthy water to drink,air to breathe and land for their existence on the earth.
In order to make a career in environmental engineering one has to opt for the Science stream after 10th in which you should have the subjects as Physics,Chemistry and Biology. After completing 12th from science one can go for the Environmental Engineering course of 4 years i.e B.Tech / B.E. Furthermore one can go for M.Tech.
The other option is one can go for undergraduate course i.e B.Sc in Environmental Science which os of 3 years and after that one can go for the Masters in Environmental Engineering i.e M.Sc which is of 2 years. Diploma programs are also quite popular amongst the students to enhance their learning and knowledge and develop their skills.
