1. First you forget B.A and B.Sc and also stop comparing a subject with other subject just focus on your interest, comfortability towards a discipline either humanity or sciences & technology. Again think how these subjects are revolving around our life and how it is instrumental for me or I am the instrumental of these subjects yes you will get answer that a subject is instrumental for a person which comes through the intelligent mind. This is called induction step which brings you closer to a subject with a better understanding then seed of interest emerges in the mind to take up that subject steps ahead.

2. Next level is the work-force in terms of competence, self-motivation and dedication only then you can convert your interest into the realization of any subject which is further tagged as B.A or B.Sc. Very simple to understand the kind of your subject which is experienced through your analytical mind and gives you signal to understand it more and more.

3. Very important matter--hard labor to uncover the hidden elements from that opted course which is known to you only what you sense and understand better than others and accordingly it allows you to say that I have done this I have done that with full commitment.

4. To do all these, grab the fundamental books at 12th level and read carefully your attention will be drawn as per above statements.
5. I meant to say that never chase any book or course without interest, interest lies in two ways: one is third part dependent which comes through the references which can suit you or not it is a risk and other one is the self assessment wherein you find your path on your own experience which comes through the realization and it is sustainable for career point of view.

6. Always understand that arts and sciences are not going to help you until having the eternal receptors in your mind otherwise you will be struggling with the confusion in good and bad about a subject. Subject is an instrument to help you to set any good example by defining or re-defining it with your original insight.

Whether BA or BSc is better is really a unique question and you need to actually stop comparing any of the courses at the first place, for the simple reason my dear, that you your self cannot be compared with any one in the world!!!! You as a person, individual a very distinct and different person altogether and no body out there is like you even 1%.
