• Authorized military physicians will perform medical examinations in accordance with medical standards outlined in current rules that apply to sailors upon entrance.
• A minimum height of 157 cms is required. Weight and chest size should be in proportion to one another. A 5 cm chest enlargement is required. Information about tattoos for those interested in entering the Indian Navy after completing 12th grade. Only the inner face of forearms, from the inside of the wrist to the inside of the wrist, and the reversed side of the palm/back (dorsal) side of the hand are allowed to get permanent body tattoos.
