The zoologist could work in laboratory or in the field. In the laboratory , the zoologist observe closely the animals using latest equipment, while in field the animals are observed from a distance. For field conditions, the person is supposed to to be physically fit, alert and healthy.

Now people are working on molecular level of zoology. They no longer work on classification or studying the morphology of animal. Using sophisticated tools, the zoologist study in details about cell structure.
