Dear Gaurang Mittal,
Thanks for writing to www.careerguide.com! You did not mention you educational qualification. Well, if you haven't completed MSc, I would recommend to do MSc in nutrition and dietician or clinical nutrition or food & nutrition.
Dieitician can work in hospital, NGO or academic institutions. If you want to work in academics, you need to clarify National Eligibility for Assistant Professorship and do PhD. For work in hospital or NGO, post graduation is fine. However, PhD is highly preferred.
If you can't pursue MSc or higher studies, you can take up PG diploma in nutrition & dietics or Dietetics and Public Health Nutrition. I also recommend you to take up short term trainings organized by National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad.
Hope this is helpful to you. If you still have query, feel free to write back.
Wishing you bright career,
Apurva Kumar Pandya, PhD
