Rajeev Institute of Technology : Rajeev Institute of Technology (RIT) is a Private Engineering College located in the city of Hassan, in the state of Karnataka, India. All the courses offered by RIT are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and are affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, Karnataka. Admission Process : The admission process for Rajeev Institute of Technology (RIT) is as follows:

1. For BE Course :

   • The candidates should have passed the 12th Standard or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Electronics as one of the optional subjects.
   • The candidates should have obtained a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in the qualifying examination.
   • The candidates should have appeared for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) or the Consortium of Medical , Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) exam.
   • Based on the KCET or COMEDK score, the candidates will be eligible for admission to the BE course.

2. For M.Tech Course :

   • The candidates should have a BE/B.Tech degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) from a recognized university.
   • The candidates should have appeared for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) or the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) exam.
   • Based on the PGCET or GATE score, the candidates will be eligible for admission to the M.Tech course.
3. The candidates can apply for admission to RIT by filling the application form available on the college website or by visiting the college campus.
