Dear @shikhamohini
Hello Shikha,
A warm welcome to CareerGuide.com
It was nice talking to you. Well i would like to add something here for you. Considering both the career options i.e Banking and SSC are good career options. Both of the career options are public sector career options. Career in Public Sector is one of the promising career option always.
If we consider both the career options between Banking and SSC i would suggest you to go with the Banking for making a career. Banking sector is one of the growing sector in India due to the policy of Globalisation and their has been a lot of Foreign Investment in India. Whereas Banking industry has been also undergoing through changes their has been a lot of new services introduced in the Banking Sector and also their has been introduction of Technology in Banking. Whereas the banking sector has been expanding across India at a large scale. So their is a huge requirement of Tech Savy and skilled Human Resource in the Banking Sector.
One who wants to have a growth in the Career than you have various internal promotion examinations to go ahead. In order to get into Banking sector you need to prepare for IBPS Bank PO exam.Once you clear the Bank PO exam you get eligible for Interview and after successfully clearing Interview you get posted in the Bank.
Whereas if we talk about the SSC examination its also one of the good public sector career option. But their is not a career growth in this field. In order to get into SSC you need to give SSC exam and than Interview.
Its completely the matter of your liking. See where your interest lies and according to that you can start to prepare for the examination. I would advice you to go for the proper coaching before preparing for any kind of Exam. Coaching will help you to get an overview of the exam.
I hope you find this information useful and helpful.
Feel free to get in touch again for further career queries.
Wish you Good Luck
Thank You
Warm Regards,Prathamesh Kapote
Dear Aspirant,
Comparing SSC and Bank PO is like comparing Catering Technology course and Astrology course.
Instead of what is better, ask yourself what is the best you can do taking into consideration your ability and aptitude. Courses are for you, you are not for courses should be remembered always.
Going into public sector non banking is different and going into public sector banks is different.
I think you should first decide which career you want.
Best wishes
