Dear Aspirant, Generally, there are no such rigorous Physical Requirements for Civil Services Exam except IPS (Indian Police Service). The IPS requires one to be fit physically and one must not be physically handicapped to get into the IPS. For all other Services including IAS/IFS and other central services of group A and B, the candidates are supposed to fulfill normal physical requirements. Hello Hitesh, Yes indeed there are some normal requirements physically and UPSC has declared it in its official notification every time. As IAS are meant to be executing policies and run administration from various crucial posts, they are required to fit physically but there is no need to worry taking the requirements in your mind as these are not stringent one and anybody (including Physically Handicapped candidates as specified by UPSC) can fulfill it generally.
