No additional courses will have close to zero benefit for your placements - if you are in MBA and from HR & Marketing specialization.

Have internships in the given area of specialization will add a lot and help you in job and in placement.

So go for internships. One atleast in each year !

Dear Aspirant,

Nice to know that you are concerned about your employability and wish to add on value to your Resume when you pass out MBA.

MBA is itself a comparatively complete course. Since you will be taking HR as specialisation, there is no need at this moment to do any other course.

Till you are in the BSchool, I would like to strongly recommend you to get proficient in computers (MS Office applications). 80% MBA graduates are not proficient in MS Office and therefore fail in clearing the entry tests and interviews in job.

Best wishes,

I can safely say ignore the advice of Law + MBA ! smile

Do some amazing internships where they make you work - which would mean you will learn !

Hi,

There is no Law diploma. Its just LLB.

In the industry, HR people do LLB if they are interested in Labour Laws. Such combination is useful if one is working and would like to continue working in manufacturing or industrial companies, which are labour intensive.

MBA HR people sometimes do Psychology courses too, which are Diplomas and can be done through Distance Learning. You may also do certifications of Learning & Development which can help you to diverse from HR to L & D by remaining connected to HR field as well.

IGNOU should be right for psychology courses. However I would NOT recommend at all for doing any courses - as even suggsted by @anandwadadekar MBA is complete in itself - even want to do any courses should be done when in work to grow further.

IMHO Psychology course will not do any benefit - stick to your MBA + Do Internships + Take part in as many workshops in college/outside.
