Hello Anmol

The exam for IPS (Indian Police Service) is conducted by UPSC. There are three phases of the exam that are CSAT (civil service aptitude test), Civil service main exam and Interview

The eligibility criteria is the candidate must e at least 21 years of age and must be a graduate in any discipline from recognized university. You may check the detailed physical fitness criteria on UPSC portal.

Hence, you have two more years in your hand to prepare for the exam.

Few tips for preparation for the exam are-

Identify your body clock and pattern for study. Depending on the body cock, few people feel very fresh in the morning while few feel very fresh at the evening. Allocate your time accordingly. Study difficult subjects in the prime time and your favourite subjects in the other lot.

Be updated regarding the current affairs by reading the newspapers daily.

Develop your communication skills by practising speaking about a particular topic daily.

Solve previous question papers in te given time limit. Check the results and improve the week areas.

All the best.
