Delhi University is the most prestigious university in the country situated in the capital New Delhi it is compared to international universities around the globe, with providing numerous courses to students 75 colleges are affiliated to the University of Delhi.

It is a place where students spend their most important time which will decide their future and getting admission in one of the colleges of Delhi University is a dream come true.
Some of the most reputed colleges in the country are affiliated to DU including colleges like St Stephens, Hindu college, and SRCC. Most of these institutions were established before the independence and have more than 70 years of history. Due to an excellent facility and good placement records, it is the first choice not only for students of deferent states but you can also find students from around the globe.
Being a political science student in SGTB College, North Campus DU my fees is 16,000 a year which is nothing compared to the experience and knowledge you receive. There are seats reserved for SC/ST students and classes are made in such a way so it can be easily accessed by PWD students. Du has known for its exceptional infrastructure and huge campus its colleges have everything you could think of from air conditioned libraries to a big football ground.
Degree in Law from Delhi University-
Department of Law is a specific branch in DU which is responsible for conducting entrance exams for admissions in LLB, LLM and other post- graduation courses in law. DPT of Law prepare the syllabus and also revise it on regular basis it has to formulate rules regarding admission process and also declare dates for particular tests conducted by the University.
Law degree from DU has immense value and every year in July thousands of students apply for the Law entrance examination form all over India. Due to a limited number of seats, very few students get a chance to experience DU life.
Admission Procedure-
The applications forms are made available by April of every year on the DU website, in recent years all the forms are available on online portals and offline forms are not available anymore.
Students need to pay 500 rupees per form and have to submit it before the stated time period, No forms are accepted after the last date of submission and I suggest everyone read the instructions provided by the University on the website.
Exams are usually conducted in the first week of July, and admit cards are made available by the university one month prior to examination date.

Eligibility-
In order to be eligible for the course, students need to pass their board exams with a minimum of 50% in total and ST/SC students need the minimum of 45% in total.
Students seeking admission need to be citizens of India and have to show certificate and required documents at the time of admission. Students of foreign origin have to directly contact the concerned college for admission.
As of 2017 after a decision of Supreme Court, there is no upper age limit to get admission in DU LLB as if you give CLAT the age limit is 20 years.
Exam Pattern-
The duration of examination is 2 hours and it consists of 175 questions for every right answer a candidate gets 4 marks and for a wrong one 1 mark is deducted.
Paper is divided into 5 sections which are
1) English Comprehension
2) Logical reasoning
3) Mathematics (10th equivalent)
4) Legal Aptitude
5) Current Affairs (General Knowledge)
The result is usually declared in the second week of July it can vary as the date of exam also changes every year. The result is declared on the DU website and the students have to take a printout of the result as it will be needed further in the admission procedure.

Students who have scored required marks and who are eligible for admission than are called for counseling which is the final step of the admission procedure. Keep in mind to carry all the documents needed as not having any one of the document will result in cancellation of the admission.
