Students can go for the courses like Botany, Forestry, and Agriculture, Horticulture, Floriculture etc. As you have been planning to make a career in the field of forestry it means you have an interest in the Nature. A student learning in the Nature. A student learning the forestry they have to lay a major role in conserving, planting and managing of the forest land. They play a very important role for the protection of the forests. A forest plays a very important role in keeping the balance f our ecosystem and environment. Whereas forests are also a home to a lot many animal and birds species of the world. Many of the resources we get from the forests which are very much needed for us. The scope for the field of forestry is quite good. A student who completed his 12th from PCB or PCBM group can apply for the B.Sc in Forestry or B.Sc (hons) forestry course. The course is of 4 years duration. After completing the forestry course a student you can go for the master’s course in it. The job opportunities available for the forestry students is both in the private and public sector you can work with the Zoological parks, wildlife sanctuaries. In government sector a student can apply for the Indian forest Service (IFS) examination conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Communication) whereas a student can also apply for the post of lecturer after completing master’s degree.
