Hello Jaffer,
A course in ICWAI or MBA, though both are finance related, they both serve two different perspective.
An ICWAI, will enhance your knowledge in the accounts section. And an MBA, will enhance your knowledge in the management field. Thus choose on the basis of the industry requirement.
If you are working, then depending on the job requirement take a call. If not, then self introspect, is it accounts department you wish to excel in.
As a counselor, I feel you should at the moment focus on aquiring knowledge which will help you in your career in long term. Thus an ICWAI can be pursued first which will strengthen your accounts knowledge and then you could focus on managerial skills.
But please note, it is your career and no one other than you can make this decision better.
Hope this helps.
Wish you good luck...
Dear Aspirant,
It appears that some one has told you that an MBA is a must for everybody to do good in career. I would like to tell you that MBA is not a must at all for everybody. Doing MBA should be necessity/need based and not qualification based. MBA should not be done just to add a educational qualification or degree sake but it should be done at the right stage of the career where learning management aspects are required to climb the career ladder.
Doing CWA should be your priority since is a very good professional qualification which will be the base for your starting career. Therefore you should do CWA in the least number of attempts first.
After you gain a work experience of at least five years, then you may think of MBA course in part time or executive mode. It can definitely be in Finance, since CWA and MBA Finance will then compliment each other for career growth.
Best wishes
Pursuing an MBA enhances your personality and you will be able to express more passionately in the corporate world. You will also be able to compete better in the industry, to succeed in the corporate environment, its actually necessary for the you to take up the MBA course as it equips you with the required skills. As you have shown more concern regarding this course. I would recommend to do MBA finance first and then go for CWA course as you will be able to focus more efficiently in the area of finance area and that will give you good package too. And moreover there are many good things behind it ,if you opt. MBA course , i.e,1. Narrow Focus2. Personality Driven3. Growing Job Prospects4
In order to post replies to the question: "hello sir , i just wanted to know it is better to do cwa course before mba finance"
