Dear Friend,

Let me first thank you to share your question in details with us so that we can understand and take a holistic approach towards the question

Since you have done B.sc and then marketing and system MBA you can do almost all the jobs. I have worked in Capital market myself and there are lot of thing which you can do in capital market.

Since you have changed lot of jobs and devoted most of the crucial years in Capital market as a equity advisory its better and suggestible to continue in the same field of capital market.

Since you have worked as equity adviser you would have to achieve your targets and had to sell the investment ideas to client, you may do the same job but at the institutional level where you can use your skills to advice fund manager and dealers so you can try for jobs in Institutional equities or Wholesale capital market division of companies.

You can also try and request your current employer to consider you for the Research department where you would not be linked to sales you can also be a part of Product desk where quantitative research takes place. Although it all depends on your relationship with your seniors and your inclination towards such jobs.

Just ensure that do not think for some fast paced growth since when you change you have to prove that you can deliver the best results, for the courses which would help you move away from Sales to some other roles you can think about FRM(Financial Risk Manager) or CFA ( Chartered financial Analyst).

FRM : This is one of the course which is created for Risk management jobs all the financial firms have to manage the Risk which they have in their business and in future the need for FRM would grow in india.

CFA : CFA is widely recognised and respect degree inFinancialMarketsyou can think of Research, investmentbanking and Corporate finance once you became CFAcharter.

Both of the above courses are Distance learning and would be easier to do in continuation with your job as well.

You are the best person to judge yourself, be confident and you would get the desired result

Wish you all the best!!!
