Agriculture engineering is basically the application of all engineering branches in the field of agriculture to solve various problems related with farm mechanization, productivity and development. A discipline concerned with solving the engineering problems of providing food and fiber for the people of the world. These problems include designing improved tools to work the soil and harvest the crops , as well as developing water supplies for agriculture and system for irrigating and draining the land where necessary. Agriculture engineers design farmstead in which to house animals or store grains. During agriculture engineering the student usually go through the major divisions of this discipline such as agriculture process engineering, farm machinery & power engineering, soil and water conservation engineering , irrigation and drainage engineering.
