A food technologist needs to have above average intelligence, scientific bent of mind, excellent power of observation, interest in scientific and technological developments, interest in health and nutrition, power of concentration, strong sense of responsibility, ability to work well on one's own as well as a part of team, ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of intellect etc.
To identify whether you have right interests and aptitude to be a food technologist , you are advised to get your psychometric career assessment done.
